Federal Resources’ mobile version of the highly-regarded HazMatIQ Charts for quickly determining the appropriate response to a HazMat incident. Available for Android and iOS devices.
PHMSA Emergency Response Guidelines App
The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration offers a free mobile web app of its Emergency Response Guidebook 2012 (ERG). The new safety tool provides U.S. emergency responders with easily accessible information to help manage hazardous material incidents. This software is available for iOS and Android devices.
JUST IN TIME DISASTER TRAINING
This online video library is maintained by Disaster Resistant Communities Group. It covers disaster-related mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery training for a wide variety areas including hazardous materials response.
CHEMICAL/BIOLOGICAL/RADIOLOGICAL INCIDENT HANDBOOK
This older handbook (last updated 1998) available from the CIA website provides basic information to first responders for use in making a preliminary assessment of a situation when a possible chemical, biological agent or radiological material is suspected.
